WATERSTONES VIRTUAL SCHOOL VISIT

Schools are invited to join us (free of charge) online on Thursday May 15 at 10.30am for a very special virtual event with author Lui Sit as she presents her heart pounding adventure Land of the Last Wildcat, beautifully illustrated by David Dean.

Recommended for Years 3-6

Land of the Last Wildcat is the first book in a thrilling new action-adventure series, from the FAB prize-winning debut author Lui Sit. Bold, original and vibrant, the book features environmental messaging and important representation of mixed-race heritage, making this breath-taking story a must-read for a middle-grade audience.

As part of this 45-minute interactive schools’ event Lui will introduce students to the highly original characters she has created in Land of the Last Wildcat – featuring a rare wildcat with magical powers, an ominous professor and a very brave girl determined to save the former from the later. Lui will also share her inspirations behind the book and schools will also have the chance to put questions to Lui during this special event.
